one shirt, two ways

Might as well put it out there now: we’re two best friends who share a lot. That includes similar shades of brunette hair, a preference for the color yellow, late night gossip sessions, a passion for fun nail art and a similar taste in most everything (including men.. hey, Zac Efron, call us!).

But as alike as we may be and as often as we find ourselves drooling over – and ultimately purchasing – the same pair of shoes, we know everyone’s sense of style is different and we think it’s fun to see how two people might style the exact same piece of clothing. In this case we both purchased this super comfy striped tee from Old Navy and thought it might be the perfect chance to test the theory.

Since the weather in Kingsport, TN was next to perfect, Kailyn paired her tee with distressed boyfriend jeans and simple sandals.

Further up north in Northampton, MA, Crystal took a similar approach. But because of  unpredictable early spring weather in New England, a less-distressed boyfriend jean and classic white high-top converse replaced Kailyn’s distressed denim + sandals. Add a lightweight coat and/or flannel and you’ll be (almost) prepared for whatever wind, snow, rain, sun might come your way.

No matter how you style this unbelievably soft tee, you’ll love wearing it — it’s perfect for any casual Friday (…or Monday-Thursday).
